Jermaine “JT” Bethea is a live events producer, audiovisual operations leader, sound engineer, broadcaster, and creative storyteller. A New Jersey native and graduate of Montclair State University’s Film & Television program, JT has built a multidisciplinary career across live events, radio, theatre, hospitality AV, nonprofit leadership, and community production.

At Montclair State’s award-winning 90.3 WMSC, JT oversaw programming, mentored more than 100 new DJs, coordinated talent, and helped lead major initiatives, including a seven-day continuous anniversary broadcast. The experience shaped a leadership style grounded in preparation, accountability, collaboration, and creative empowerment.

Today, JT serves as an Event Services Supervisor with Pinnacle Live, coordinating event setups and strikes, supervising internal and contract labor, supporting clients, managing production documentation, and executing corporate and hospitality events in meeting rooms and ballrooms. His work combines technical precision, crew leadership, safety, inventory management, and real-time problem-solving while maintaining a polished guest experience.

His additional experience includes audiovisual support for high-profile events at NYU School of Law, board operations for FOX Sports Radio New Jersey, promotional activations for Beasley Media Group, and technical production for live theatre, musical performances, weddings, and community events.

JT is also an experienced host and emcee and the Co-Founder of the Golden Fleece Collective, a New Jersey–based arts nonprofit built around the mission, “Where no one creates alone.” Through the organization, he develops showcases, open mics, networking experiences, and artist-centered events while overseeing venues, budgets, staffing, vendors, partnerships, logistics, and day-of execution.
